Congrats, EpoxyPeach!

Epoxy Peach

We are delighted to share with you MEYSPRING’s Artist of the Month, EpoxyPeach! Nikki, the artist behind the Instagram handle @epoxypeach, has seriously impressed us with a plethora of beautiful resin geode art pieces this month! The variety of color schemes and textures, along with her processes, are always so satisfying to watch come together.

She also creates popular TikTok videos sharing her resin art techniques and creative journey! We truly enjoy watching her pours every step of the way - especially when she showcases MEYSPRING Pigments in action!

Meet the Artist

We’ve spoken with Nikki for some Q&A about her art and inspiration!

How long have you been working with resin?

I started playing around with resin around January 2020. Like many people, I came across Mrs. Colorberry's work and was just amazed. After that, I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I finally took the plunge! I started out in a 10x20 ft tent in our warehouse in the 100-degree heat, and now I have a climate-controlled "Pour Room"

What is your favorite pigment color?

My favorite color is definitely MEYSPRING Shiny Malachite. The green is so rich and oozes luxury. I will even change it up using blue or green alcohol inks or even black paint. It's so dreamy no matter how I use it!

What makes/made you choose MEYSPRING pigments

Originally I started with cheap kits from Amazon, which I'm sure you guessed isn't the best quality. I had been looking for a great green and finally came across MEYSPRING's Shiny Malachite. After learning how amazing the product colored my resin without using a ton of pigment and its great consistency, I was hooked. I purchased the Geode Art Collection box and loved the variety. Each color is wildly unique and still always consistent and high quality, so now that's my go-to brand.

Where do you find your inspiration and/or motivation?

Inspiration comes to me in the least expected moments. I will randomly have images pop in my head while relaxing or even in dreams. Sometimes I'll even wake up and write them down. I come across great color schemes in nature or just everyday life. Of course, I am also greatly inspired by my fellow artists as well.

Any words of advice for artists that are wanting to create resin art?

There is an absolute wealth of information out there, so research is key. While resin art may look easy, it takes a long time to learn its ways and still will throw even the most experienced artist for a loop. When I was starting out, I found that there was a lot of mixed information, and I struggled to get the exact answers I needed. For that reason, I love to help inform new artists and will gladly answer their questions. But most important - invest in PPE like a respirator and gloves. All resin is toxic, and it’s crucial to protect your lungs and overall health.

Congratulations again to Nikki on winning this month’s MEYSPRING Artist of the Month!
