THE GEODE ART COLLECTION - NOW IN JARS

Like every other resin colorant in the Geode Art Collection, Gilded Gold True Metallic Powder has been handpicked to harmonize and complement each other, so the right color-combo is any color-combo! This collection has all you need to succeed in Geode Art.

TRUE METALLIC PIGMENTS

Unlike micas, metallic pigments’ golden or silvery appearance comes from real metals like Aluminum, Copper, and Zinc powder.

MEYSPRING metallic pigments have a smaller micron size than micas, making most particles float and create stunning special effects in resin art pieces. In addition, you only need a small amount to color epoxy resin.

Since these pigments are inert and do not react or dissolve in almost any medium, they are incredibly versatile. You can use MEYSPRING metallics with resin, acrylic paints, nail polish, mod podge, car paint, silicone, cosmetic applications, etc. You can even decorate the surface of candles and color polymer clay with them.

Particle size: 400mesh

Main Ingredients: Copper, Zinc

FDA Approved: Safe for external use on skin, face, and around eyes. These pigments are not permitted in lip products to avoid internal consumption.

MIXED INTO EPOXY RESIN

Metallic pigments create a solid, shiny finish when mixed into resin. The mixture results in a jaw-dropping “liquid metal” look and the beloved floating-gold effect. However, these pigments don’t contain any sparkle or shimmer. As these pigments’ bases are naturally occurring metals, you’ll get an authentic metal appearance when the resin has cured. With metallic pigments, the result will usually be opaque.

**SOLD BY WEIGHT, NOT VOLUME

All MEYSPRING pigments are sold by weight, not volume. However, they all come in the same size Jar containing 50g of pigment. Our Gilded Gold is a metallic pigment with a remarkably tiny particle size, so it's heavier and much denser than our mica powders and glitters. Therefore, the 50g of this particular pigment will take up significantly less space (volume) in the jar, and it may appear to be emptier than jars containing other MEYSPRING pigments.

But only a tiny amount of our metallic pigments is needed to color your projects. So it will usually last longer than 50g of other mica-based pigments.

While MEYSPRING metallic pigments are not harmful, we always recommend wearing a dust mask and protective eyewear to prevent fine metallic particles from entering the lungs and eyes. If you get powder in your eyes, immediately flush them with water. Do not ingest or directly inhale the pigments.

As MEYSPRING metallic pigments are cosmetic grade and FDA-approved for makeup purposes around the eyes, they are safe to handle without gloves and do not stain your clothing or skin. Wash your hands with hot water and soap to remove pigment from your skin.
